So we share a simple workaround here to enhance XMind performance. Just a few steps below, XMind will work better.
- Find out the XMind.ini file,
- Open it with a text editor tool,
- Modify the numbers in the following three lines to what you see below,
- -Xms256m
- -Xmx1024m
- -XX:MaxPermSize=512m
- Save it, and re-launch XMind.
On Windows and Linux, you will find the XMind.ini file in the folder where XMind is installed. Below is its position on 64 bits Win8.
On Mac OS X, the path is Application folder - XMind (right click) - select Show Package Contents - choose Contents - Eclipse - XMind.ini. And add the three lines file above at the end of the XMind.ini file on Mac OS.
