Issues on Xmind Clound

Hi There,

I had a Mind Map that I created on my PC and saved on the Xmind Cloud since the beggining. I was able to edit this Map on my local PC for days.

Today I needed to access that on another PC and I entered there from the browser (cloud.xmind.net). I could see the map there and opened it.

The issue is that I made a change on the file there and saved it straight on the cloud. After that I couldn't open the mind map on my local PC anymore. I synced, it shows the correct date of the latest change (on my PC), but when I click to open it says something like: "This file doesn't exist. It may be deleted or moved to other place" (I use the PT-BR version).

Now I'm only able to open and edit the file on the browser, even if I try to right-click and hit "Save as" the map form the cloud to my local PC it doesn't save and can't locate file afterwards. It already happened to me with other maps.

First, I'm not an Xmind employee, just a fellow user.

I hate being the bringer of bad news, but... There are many postings in which people describe similar issues, synchronisation hick-ups or the map enters a state where it can't be opened in the desktop application any longer. I've witnessed this myself (luckily using test maps) and therefore I'm still stick with other cloud storage services (Dropbox, Apple iCloud, Google Drive, Microsoft OneDrive etc.) to save my work while being accessible from multiple computers. For me this is easy as I haven't had the need to show my maps in a location where I hadn't had Xmind installed, ofc YMMV.

I understand that this doesn't help you right now, but I recommend keeping a local copy of a map and use Xmind Cloud only for small edits (that you can afford to loose in case of issues) and for displaying to others.
