How can I view two workbooks/sheets at once?

Chris Sep 28, 2017 06:21AM HKT

I have two workbooks (.xmind files), and I'd like to refer to one while building the other. How can I do this?

I've seen the answers about dragging the editor window, but that isn't working for me. (I suspect the answers are outdated?)

Chris,

Did you search this forum? This has been asked twice this month, and I've provided a workaround.

When it comes to dragging, that refers to versions up to Xmind 7.5 update 1. In those you could drag tool panes (termed "Windows" by Xmind). I don't think you've ever been able to drag sheets themselves. Since Xmind 8 (plain) all panes are locked in their positions.
