Bug: Summary disappears on reorganization of topics, connection changes source topic

Dominik Oct 06, 2017 06:46PM HKT

I have the following structure of topics:

-> B \ (Summary) ------(Connection)------> E
-> C /
-> D

Now, I select B and C and drag-drop them so they appear as sub-topics under D.

Expected behavior after drag-drop:

-> D
----> B \ (Summary) ------(Connection)------> E
----> C /

Actual Behavior:

-> D ------(Connection)------> E
----> B
----> C

What happens is that the summary suddenly disappears, leaving the connection searching for it's source (which was the summary), probably can't find it, and connects to the parent topic (D) instead.

See also this gif for reference (don't mind the artifacts, that's from recording):

Echt? I can reproduce the issue. It is clearly a bug.

A work-around:

- Drag first B.
- Drag then C, the summary and its connection will follow but covers only C.
- There is a horizontal bar, looks like curly bracket, above and beneath C, drag one of those to re-cover B
