Open a document crashes Xmind

Carsten Nov 29, 2017 09:32PM HKT

Hello,

I am using Xmind 8 Update 5 Pro (licensed).
It happens realy often that wenn I try to open a Document by going to "File->Open" Xmind just terminated. I get no error message. It doesn't happen all the time.
So I am unfortunatly not able to reproduce this bug.

system environment: We are using the software on a WIndows Server 2008 R2 Citrix Terminalserver.

Thank you for your help!
Best regards,
Carsten

Here is the log at that time when Xmind crashes:

Carsten,

I don't know about Citrix, but what strikes me the oldish OS version you're running. I googled a little and found

https://java.com/en/download/help/sysreq.xml

which says that for Java 8 you need MS Windows Server 2008 R2 service pack 1.

Hello Juha,

I haven't mention that the Server OS is up-to-date and of course the SP1 Version is installed.

Best regards
Carsten
