After buying XMind Pro 8 last year, even accepting you just shut down the cloud service (which was one of the reasons to buy XMind the first place), coincidentally I find out that there is a completely new version called XMind Zen.
So I look at your homepage, finding a lot of beautifully design marketing gibberish on the new MindMap tool. But to find out the differences between Pro and ZEN, I have to manually search the support center, because even in FAQ there is nothing.
And still I don't get it. So now we have two versions? But we have to pay for two versions? And it doesn't count whether we already have a Pro license or not? Plus there is the iOS app, which MAY also come in handy for the plain, boring old Pro license owner, but no one tells you about, and, it is only possible to buy via subscription.
With so many false decisions and strange marketing, I am almost about to quit XMind, but still it is the best Mapping Software for MacOS available.
So, please, improve your communications team! And clear out some of the chaos caused by ZEN (which, as obvious as possible, seems to be the mere opposite of the meaning of ZEN).
