Zen versus Xmind 8 - memory handling

I paid for both 8mind pro and Xmind Zen. Using large and complex mindmaps, I thought Xmind pro should be the right choice. However, Xmind pro is incredibly slow at processing large files, much more than Zen is, which works fine but is more limited in functionalities. The workaround (changing numbers in the Xmind ori.file) doesn't help much. I really would like to see that Xmind gets rid of the weak points of their products by combining the strong elements and functionalities in one product...

  I agree. I too work with large and complex maps. I also use Xmind: Zen as a xml (opml) viewer. I use Zen because Xmind Pro's import functionality doesn't even work.

  At plenty of points, the map is just fractured with missing lines and such. Not a great experience.
