Formatting text into a subtopic

Hi,

I just moved from mind manager to free version of xmind.

I can't figure out how to format a word into a topic or subtopic.

Think about having a text that you want only few word in bold. How can I do that?

I found a help on internet that said to use * and _ but it doesnt work.
