Can't filter or search the mind map for symbols

I am using XMind 2020 on a macbook pro with OS 10.13.6

I have set several symbols (like priority or green / red persons....) but I can't filter the map view to that symbols. I can't even make them highlighted.
If that doesn't work setting symbols doesn't make any sense.
