In XMind 8 Pro When I hive off part of a map as a separate map

When I click on the link to it, there is an intermediate map that comes up with a link that takes me there. How can I make a direct link?

I've been looking for more help and tutorials for this version of XMind but not finding very much. Any help with these problems would be much appreciated.
