Xmind Pro on Linux/Wayland with multiple monitors and fractional scaling
Hi Xmind community,
Recently I started using GNOME Wayland on Ubuntu 24.04, and have three screens:
1x 23" 1920x1080
1x 15.6" 1920x1080
1x 27" 3840x2160 (4K)
I need to use 125% scaling for the 4K screen to make things comfortable. The problem with this is that currently Xwayland doesn't seem to support fractional scaling, which makes the Xmind window blurry. Here is an acceptable interim solution for the .deb package version of Xmind:
1. Open a terminal
2. Launch xmind with: xmind --enable-features=UseOzonePlatform --ozone-platform=wayland
This makes the Xmind user interface crisp and clear on the scaled 4K display.
Hope that helps someone out there,
Jason
