How do I prevent color changing when moving a topic?

I don't think I've ever seen this happen before, but I was working on a new mind map today and found the color of a given topic would be changed every time I moved it. If I have a single central node and three on the left which are red, green, and blue from top to bottom and are labelled with the text name of the color, dragging the "red" node from the top to the bottom of the stack leaves the text as "red" but inexplicably changes the color to blue?! What gives?! Is this a new "feature" or something?! Is there some way to turn this off?! Thanks.
