Bring two subtopics back into one

Is there a way to bring two subtopics back together into one? Like so:

As a work-around, I've been using the summary function, but that only works once. After you're "within" a summary node, if you try to summarize again, it always breaks it up into individual summaries like this:

I've also tried using floating topics and relationships, but that gets messy & inconvenient really quickly, especially since I tend to move things around quite a bit, and need all my topics to maintain cohesion.

I looked around quite a bit but no luck--is there a way to do this?

  Hi, don't know if you found another way, but xmind now lets you bring multiple subtopics back into one within a summary block 👍🏼

  Yes this works, but the workaround can lead to Summary Blocks overlapping
  Which can't be dealt with
