Concept mapping
I'm really missing the feature were you can link two subtoppics form different (main/mother)topics to each other, but different than a relationship. I have searched everywhere but still can't find the way to do this.
It would be nice to include this in the options. Creating a concept map with only relationship links is really time consuming compared to the easy 'tab' and 'enter' links the program automatically makes with enter and tab buttons. It also makes the map look really messy, or you would have to spent a lot of time on the layout yourself, which isn't preferred either.
If you could only select two (or more) subtopics and link them so they also would appear closer to each other automatically. When the two are linked it would be awesome to make even more topics out of the two links! So it creates a branch with two main/mother topics!

While you wait, you can try the free CMapTools software at https://cmap.ihmc.us

If I understand you correctly, I need the same thing. I use the app for studing philosophy and usualy I need to bring together two concepts to form a new one. I usually use summary as a workaround, but is not very useful. When the concepts I want bring together are sumarys itself I can't make a "sumary of sumarys". Using floating topics with relations its very messy and has no compatibility with outline mode.
