Change node relationship

I'm either blind or the most obvious feature is missing.

I want to move a node (parent or independent) to another node as its child.

How do I do this?

  Hi Nicole Halanek I just was trying to figure this out too.  I found that dragging the child node to the line that connects the main node to one of its already existing child nodes works.  So instead of trying to make it connect to the main node you want to move to, go a little bit further away from it on the line and it should snap in.  I hope this makes sense and works for you!

  thanks very much for sharing your success. Which format has your map? I tried Map and Matrix, but I cannot reproduce it. No matter where I drag it, I can only move it to a different place but not to a different level or node.

  I am using xmind map.  Hopefully this will help you out.

  Sigh... I tried dragging it absolutely everywhere now. I can't make it happen. I can only move position of the  node. Thanks for your efforts though. I will keep trying, now that I know it is meant to work somehow.
