Shortcut for moving node to parent or child of sibling
I hate to be a drama queen, but this is kind of a showstopper if I'm not able to move nodes up and down the hierarchy with a keyboard shortcut. It's really the only thing in my workflow that currently requires me to take my hands off the keyboard.
Typically, I use maps that are the "logic" type, with all of the nodes on the right of the main node.
Let me know if I can be of any assistance on this.

Voted up. This is very much missed functionality.
There's another thing I miss: "Insert child" between current node and its children. This is, what would be the inverse of "Insert Parent". I happen to want to do that often, and AFAIK it cannot be done. You have to insert parent, then edit the new parent to make it as your previous node, and then edit the new node. I opened a new issue for that: https://support.xmind.net/hc/en-us/community/posts/9445228378265-Insert-child-between-current-node-and-its-children-inverse-of-Insert-parent-
