Draw vertical and horizontal relationship

Seems there's no way to draw a relation (the arrow line) in strictly horizontal or vertical manner.

There's no indication of whether it's being aligned or not, completely in free form position.

When you choose the straight line relationship, it's useful to indicate to the user that whether the current drawing being aligned or not.

  Same problem here. Angled relationships are terrible to make in XMind. Please check the picture below. I cant find a way to mak such relations in a 90 degree fashion. In other software when <shift> or <control> is pressed while dragging lines will lock to straight 90° shapes.
