XMind 2020 & 2021 Large Mindmap Performance

Xmind performance on Mac OSX Big Sur (11.2.3) is slow and takes a long time to open large mind maps with embedded images and documents.

"Large" means 920Mb file size.

"Slow" means typically 1min 40sec on a 2.9Ghz 6 core i9 processor with 32Gb RAM

Activity Monitor shows XMind is not using full resource available.

Can load performance please be improved?

  I am having this same problem.

  The only solutions I find online--for changing memory--seem to be for prior or other versions.

  hello i am having this problem too, its terrible! i used previous versions for notes for online exam, and have made all my notes in here only to find the search function can have a lag of up to a minute? unusable for my timed exam. is there any help available? this query is months old....
