There is a share function in xmind works, but the person you are sharing with cannot edit it, so I would like to be able to edit it.

  I was wondering the same thing. I expect this would become a feature in the future? On xmind.works, we already have realtime viewing. Realtime editing (like Google Docs, Miro etc) is a logical next step. I hope the XMind dev team are working on it and it's not too far away..

  Is there any way you can share the roadmap of Xmind?

  Let edit a shared mindmap to another person is a feature that could have a lot of ROI and success in the product. Like lucidchart, miro or Figma, ..)
  I trully believe Xmind is the best mindmapping tool, however, Mindmeister has the collaboration feature and this feature will steal you customers from Xmind.
